Brooke Edwards is an honours student of International Relations and Art History at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where she was elected Student Representative for the School of International Relations after beginning a joint degree following her Cum Laude graduation from Choate Rosemary Hall. As a former Executive Assistant at Nicolla Hewitt Communications in New York, Brooke led strategic communications campaigns for high-profile clients, including the Prime Minister and Parliament of Cambodia, with an emphasis on cultural diplomacy and international press engagement. She also directed international media relations for the 2024 Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards at the Kennedy Center, securing global coverage and coordinating with presenters such as Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, Diane von Furstenberg, NBCUniversal’s Donna Langley, and Amna Nawaz of PBS NewsHour, while celebrating honorees including Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa, President Hilda Heine, and diplomat Aya Chebbi.

Her previous experience includes internships at Smithhouse Strategy, where she curated Emmy nomination announcements and supported client coverage for HBO, NatGeo, and Apple TV, as well as at Sorelle Gallery of Fine Art, where she facilitated over $100,000 in fine art sales in just two months and designed digital assets to drive e-commerce growth. Brooke has also served as a Media Intern at FITZ & CO, transcribing VIP client conversations from Art Basel Switzerland, organizing long-lead deadlines in The New York Times, Financial Times, and Vogue, and contributing to international campaign strategy. Most recently, she worked as a Gallery Assistant at Van Der Plas Gallery, representing internationally recognized artists including Al Diaz, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s graffiti partner and co-founder of the SAMO project.

Beyond communications and the arts, Brooke’s career reflects a commitment to global engagement and sustainability. She has twice returned to Paros, Greece, to support sustainable agritourism initiatives, implementing eco-conscious farming practices to address climate change and expand international visibility. At St Andrews, she was selected to the DONT WALK creative team, coordinating front-of-house operations for what Teen Vogue calls the world’s largest student-run fashion show, featuring contributions from Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, and Raf Simons.

Brooke’s dedication to cultural diplomacy, fine communications, and sustainability continues to shape her trajectory, distinguishing her as an emerging voice at the intersection of global affairs and the arts.
